Carlos Vinicio Flores is a landscape professional with a background in agricultural sciences and environmental auditing. He started his work life as an environmental auditor for Rainforest Alliance in Guatemala, where he evaluated the environmental and social performance of agricultural operations. He then pursued his studies in environmental techniques at Seneca College in Canada, where he learned about environmental management and sustainability.
Carlos has been working in the landscaping industry since 2014, and became a crew leader in 2019. He was responsible for leading and installing green roofs, which are eco-friendly and aesthetically pleasing solutions for urban spaces. He joined Oriole Landscaping in March 2021 as a lead hand, and participated in the Royal Hotel Landscaping project in Picton, Ontario. This project was award-winning landscape construction by Oriole Landscaping, under the guidance of Janet Rosenberg Studios. Carlos was promoted to crew leader in 2022, and completed the supervisory training at Landscape Ontario in 2023. Carlos is passionate about creating beautiful and functional landscapes that improve the quality of life and the environment.
